Terms & Conditions.

1.1. Quotes are based on the details you provide, including event date, location, guest numbers and package selection.

1.2. A quote is an estimate until confirmed. Your booking is only secured once we receive your deposit and issue written confirmation.

1.3. Prices are as set out in your quote. Travel fees and any add-ons are confirmed in writing before your booking is finalised.

2.1. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date. Until the deposit is received, your date remains available to other clients.

2.2. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.

2.3. Payment is to be made by bank transfer or card.

2.4. We reserve the right to treat a booking as cancelled if the balance is not received by the due date.

3.1. Each package carries a minimum guest count: The Smokehouse (20 guests), The Pitmaster (30 guests) and The BBQ Feast (40 guests).

3.2. Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before your event. This figure is what your final balance is based on.

3.3. If final numbers fall below the confirmed count, charges remain payable for the confirmed number. If numbers rise, we'll do our best to accommodate, subject to availability, with any additional cost confirmed in writing.

4.1. Dietary alternatives, extra proteins and extended service are available on enquiry and must be agreed in writing before the event.

4.2. We'll always try to accommodate changes, but late requests may not be possible depending on timing and availability.

5.1. By you: Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations within a set period of days of the event may incur charges, as we may have already committed to ingredients, preparation and reserved dates.

5.2. By us: In the rare event we must cancel due to circumstances within our control, you'll receive a full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit.

5.3. This clause should be read together with clause 9 (Circumstances Beyond Our Control).

6.1. We're based in Bakers Hill and service the Perth Hills and surrounding regions.

6.2. A travel fee applies to events beyond 80km of our home base. This is calculated and confirmed in your quote.

7.1. You're responsible for ensuring we have safe, reasonable access to the event site for our truck and equipment, along with adequate space to set up and cook.

7.2. Please let us know in advance of any access restrictions, ground conditions, or site requirements that may affect setup.

7.3. We may be unable to proceed, without refund of monies already committed, if the site is unsafe or unsuitable and this was not disclosed beforehand.

8.1. We take food safety seriously and cook to proper standards.

8.2. While we accommodate dietary requirements on enquiry, our food is prepared in an environment where allergens are present. We cannot guarantee any dish is completely free from traces of allergens. Guests with severe allergies should take this into account.

8.3. Once food has been served, its safe handling and storage become the responsibility of the client and their guests. We recommend perishable food is not left out for extended periods.

9.1. We aren't liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, fire, road closures, equipment failure, illness or other emergencies.

9.2. Should such an event occur, we'll work with you to reschedule where possible, or discuss a fair resolution.

10.1. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total value of your booking.

10.2. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

11.1. We may photograph our food and setups at your event for our portfolio and social media. We won't identify you or share private details without your consent. If you'd prefer we don't take photos at your event, just let us know in advance.

12.1. Any personal information you provide is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of its courts.
